The Tampa Bay Diversity Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Diamonds in Diversity Event on February 3, 2018 at the Renaissance International Plaza Hotel. The event celebrates the LGBTA best in business and community.

This year, OUTCOAST was nominated under the “Business of the Year” category along with Tech Data, Hamburger Mary’s, USF Office of Mulitcultural Affairs, Punky’s Bar and Grill, Sunset Inn & Cottages, Bradley’s on 7th, and Ybor City Barbering Company. Chamber members are encouraged to vote through January 12th, after which the finalists will be announced.

Other categories include Business Person of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, and Community Champion of the Year.

As the owner of OUTCOAST, I must share my surprise and gratitude for the nomination. As a new LGBTQA business in the Tampa region, we are blessed by our community partners, readers, and supporters. While we don’t know who nominated us, we are grateful for the support and recognition. There is lots more to come from OUTCOAST, so please keep reading!
