When OUTCOAST rolled out last month as a story-sharing platform for area LGBT-supportive businesses, non-profits, and social groups, we were cautiously optimistic. We knew we had a solid platform with an incredible marketing opportunity for regional businesses, but we were unsure what the response would look like.

We were eager to find sponsors and community partners who could help us grow our brand, and whose brands we could promote through our network.

Not more than an hour after we went live, our nerves were calmed. Christye Ozog with Berkshire Hathaway  Home Services, a Florida Properties Group based out of St. Pete Beach, insisted that she take part in our launch as our first partner.

When asked about her interest to support our endeavour, Ozog said, “I appreciated the value and fresh take on highlighting different people in our community to support each other.”

Ozog, who had reviewed a handful of other marketing opportunities in the community before partnering with OUTCOAST, said that she admired our focus on story-telling and our financial support of area non-profits.

Within a week of shaking hands in partnership, Ozog received two new clients. She’s excited to see where OUTCOAST takes her business over the next few years.

Ozog served in the Coast Guard for 10 years and is proud to support both LGBT residents and area veterans. She has a home in Gulfport with her wife Amber and their two dogs.

When asked about the real estate market in the St. Petersburg region she replied, “I couldn’t live in a better place!”
