The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association has announced the additions to its 2017-2018 Board of Directors, reports Travel Pulse.

These new directors are all LGBTQ+ business leaders from around the world and will begin their work just before IGLTA holds its 34th Annual Global Convention in St. Petersburg, Florida. The convention will take place from May 4 to 6.

New board member Felipe Cardenas is the Co-founder and CEO of the Colombian LGBT Chamber of Commerce and lives in Bogota. Uwern Jong serves as the Editor in Chief of OutThere Publishing in London. Steven Larkin, the Director of Sales, Canada for Delta Airlines in Toronto, is also a new member.

Los Angeles-based Don Skeoch, Chief Marketing Officer for the LA Tourism and Convention Board, will be joining the board, as will Richard Krieger from New York, who is the President for PrideWorld and the Isramworld Portfolio of Brands. The final new member, Earl Fowlkes, is the President and CEO of the Center for Black Equity in Washington D.C.

Richard Gray, Juan Julia, and Jon Munoz were all reappointed for another two years. Shiho Ikeuchi, Dan Melesurgo, and Chris Stanley are also returning, as is IGLTA President and CEO John Tanzella.
