If your email inboxes seemed busy this morning, it’s because area non-profits are vying for your support during the region’s fourth Give Day Tampa Bay fundraising challenge.

The 24-hour online giving challenge is designed to help Tampa Bay area non-profits raise funds and awareness for the work they do in our region.

The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay is the host of the fundraising initiative, which begins at 11:59 PM on May 1st and ends at midnight on May 2nd.

Nearly $5 million has been raised for local non-profits over the past four years and area LGBT non-profits are hopeful to receive more than a small percent of that support during this year’s challenge.

According to the offical Give Day Tampa Bay Razoo fundraising page, here are the regional LGBT organizations participating in this year’s challenge:

Metro

Project No Labels

West Coast AIDS Foundation

“The West Coast AIDS Foundation was established to help address the need for additional HIV/AIDS community based services for Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough, Citrus, Sumter, Polk, Manatee, and  Pinellas County. We participate in various events throughout the year to support the HIV/AIDS community.
