Florida Surpasses Texas as Top Moving Destination

Americans love sunshine.  And theyre moving to Florida to find it.

U-Haul recently reported that Florida just passed Texas as the top moving destination. Miguel Caminos, U-Haul company president said, Florida has been showing signs of growth for a decade, Central Florida is really booming. I cant think of any major suburb where there arent home developments or new shopping centers being built.”

This is confirmed by census data.  In 2019, Florida remained third in population.  Floridas population grew by an astounding 1.1% last year.  Other states only had half as much growth.

Cities like Kissimmee, Ocala, West Palm Beach, Port Saint Lucie and the Bradenton-Sarasota led in growth.  Other popular relocation destinations were Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Pensacola, Miami and St. Petersburg.

Florida will continue to be a desirable place to live.  Boasting good jobs, family-friendly attractions and postcard-perfect weather.  Read more here.
