Americans love . And they’re moving to Florida to find it.
U-Haul recently reported that Florida just passed Texas as the top moving destination. Miguel Caminos, U-Haul company president said, “Florida has been showing signs of growth for a decade, Central Florida is really booming. I can’t think of any major suburb where there aren’t home developments or new shopping centers being built.”
This is confirmed by census data. In 2019, Florida remained third in population. Florida’s population grew by an astounding 1.1% last year. Other states only had half as much growth.
Cities like Kissimmee, Ocala, West Palm Beach, Port Saint Lucie and the Bradenton-Sarasota led in growth. Other popular relocation destinations were Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Pensacola, Miami and St. Petersburg.
