It’s coming. It’s right around the corner. Some are starting this weekend! It’s the beginning of pride season!

We are pumped for pride this year and, as always, Florida is the place to be for pride. Here we give you a break down of all the pride fests by month all over the state.

Without further ado, here is your complete guide to Florida pride for 2020!

February

Mr. and Miss Tampa Pride
February 9th

Held at Southern Nights in Tampa, this is a fun pageant to kick off pride season with a bang. This year’s theme is “Passionate in Purple” and contestants will be judged in three categories: evening/formal wear, an interview Q&A session, and talent.

Registration to compete opens at 4:00 PM and the doors open at 8:00 PM for the audience. You can get your tickets here.

Deland Pride Love is Love
February 15th

Celebrate love in Deland! This is a great street party that runs behind the Abbey Bar from 4 PM – 8 PM but the party goes all night.

Gulfport Peace, Love, and Pride
February 16th

This is a wonderful family-friendly celebration for everyone to embrace all people and all the love for the little town of Gulfport.

Come celebrate all that makes Gulfport a wonderful place to live from 12 PM – 6 PM along Shore Blvd starting at the casino.

Gay8 Festival
February 16th

This incredible festival is when the rainbow takes over all of Little Havana in Miami. Gay8 (Gay Ocho) Festival is a Hispanic/Latino/Latinx hosted LGBTQ art, music, dance, food and cultural street festival in Miami. 

This is an event to behold stretching out for blocks around its epicenter at the famed Calle Ocho, which they turn into a full walkway to celebrate the festivities.

Greater Fort Lauderdale Pride
February 20th – 23rd

A whole weekend of fun at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The event runs from the 20th through the 23rd with different vendors throughout the weekend.

March

Pride Cape Coral
March 7th – 8th

Attend Cape Coral’s 2nd annual pride and prepare to have a blast with a parade, carnival games, food trucks, and more all in beautiful South Cape.

This two-day event starts on Saturday with a free street festival and then a brunch on Sunday where tickets can be purchased.

Pride Music and Art Festival Ybor City
March 8th

Let the Tampa Bay Pride Band entertain you at the Pride Music and Art Festival! This combined concert and art fest is a celebration of the visual and musical arts alive and well in the Tampa Bay Area.

The event takes place at the HCC Ybor City Performing Arts Building and tickets are only $15.

7th Annual Manatee Pride Festival
March 21st

The Manatee Pride Festival is an all-day family-friendly event. There will be food, fun, music, and community as over 50 vendors descend upon Bradenton.

Manatee Pride is a fundraiser for Prism Youth Initiative, Manatee County’s only program that provides services to LGBT and questioning youth.

Mr. and Miss Pride South Florida
March 23rd

This pageant showcases female impersonators and male entertainers and has a theme of “Show Your Pride” this year. The contestants will be judged on creativity, swimsuit, talent, evening wear, and Q&A. 

This event will be held at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center.

Palm Beach Pride
March 28th – 29th

This two-day festival is rocking from 12 PM – 6 PM both days. The parade is on Sunday at 11:00 AM. It’s a family-friendly event located in Bryant Park in Downtown Lake Worth. 

The Compass Pride Parade is the oldest running pride parade in Florida celebrating the LGBTQ+ community for 25 years.

Tampa Pride
March 28th

Held in beautiful Ybor City, Tampa Pride is a huge celebration of how far the LGBTQ+ community has come and a place to express what there still is to accomplish.

The parade starts at 4:00 PM at the corner of Nuccio Parkway and 7th Avenue.

Miami Beach Gay Pride Festival
March 30th – April 5th

This week-long epic event is not to be missed. This year’s theme is “Out of This World” and the whole week will be filled with events and festivities. 

The whole thing culminates in an epic two-day festival and parade. This pride event started in 2009 with only 15,000 in attendance and grew to over 140,000 last year.

The Official Big Boy Pride Orlando
April 16th – 20th

This is the HUGE 10th-anniversary extravaganza event for the Big Boy Community in Orlando. It’s for every one of the big boys out there and everyone who loves and supports them. The weekend will be a mix of cocktail parties, music, and more.

Tallahassee PRIDEFEST
April 18th, 2020

Tallahassee PRIDEFEST is an annual celebration designed to promote peace and understanding among diverse cultures, races, creeds, genders and sexual identities.

PRIDEFEST attracts hundreds of people to the Tallahassee area each year and is attracting even greater numbers to its events this year. Proceeds from the events benefit The Family Tree Community Center.

Pride of the Americas Summit 2020 Fort Lauderdale
April 21st – 26th

This summit is groundbreaking and brings together both North and South America in celebration of our diversity and culture. The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau to bring you this exciting event.

This summit will draw hundreds of thousands of individuals in bringing global attention to the inequalities LGBT+ communities face in Latin America and the Caribbean.  In partnership with Pride Fort Lauderdale, events will include runway shows, an arts festival, an LGBT+ Health and Wellness Conference, a Travel Symposium, a Business of the Americas Conference and a Transgender Summit.

All this in addition to the nightly festivities you’ve come to expect from a pride party.

Key West Pride 2020
June 3rd – 7th

One Magical Weekend at Walt Disney World
June 4th – 7th, 2020

What better way to celebrate pride than at the happiest place on earth? The festivities kick off on Thursday and continue non-stop through the whole weekend.

Naples Pride
June 6th, 2020

Naples Pride is an all-day family-friendly event being held from 11 AM – 5 PM at Cambier Park.

Pridefest Kissimmee
June 13th, 2020

This free event is family-friendly and held at the Kissimmee civic center in downtown. Celebrate with music and food vendors and make new friends along the way.

St. Pete Pride
June 26th – 28th

The largest pride event in the state, St. Pete Pride is an event to remember. With a free concert, massive parade, and a huge street festival find out why St. Pete is considered Florida’s Sunshine City.

This year the event also features a Trans Pride March on the 27th whose goal is to inspire all trans and gender non-conforming people to realize a world where we are safe, loved, and empowered.

September

Space Coast Pride
September 25th – 26th

The events kick off with a Rainbow Run 5K and continue through the weekend to conclude with the parade on Saturday.

October

Come Out St Pete
October 3rd

The Come OUT St Pete series of events in St. Petersburg and Gulfport in mid-October will celebrate “coming out of the closet and into the world” for the area’s burgeoning LGBTQ community.

Come Out With Pride Orlando
October 10th

This pride festival is also a non-profit organization whose goal is to give every member of the community a safe place. In addition to this event, they continue to support the community throughout the year with grants and scholarships.

Fantasy Fest Key West
October 16th – 25th

The end of the pride festivities caps off with one of the most epic LGBTQ+ events in the country. Both famous and infamous Fantasy Fest is not to be missed.

This year’s theme is “The Roaring 2020s” and the event offers a full 10 days of costuming, parades, libations, and exuberance throughout the island of Key West. Not safe for kiddos this adult event is the one not to miss.
