We will have a keynote by Mike Love from the SWFEC.

Mike Love is currently the Director of The SW Florida Enterprise Center (SWFEC) and also sits on the Board of Directors for the SWFL Enterprise Center Foundation.  After college, he started his career on Wallstreet in New York, which lead him to the legal field & eventually Law School.  After leaving New York and spending a few years in California, he decided to “retire” in SW Florida only to be invited to “assist” with developing some programs for the Enterprise Center by the former Director – Tom Scott.  After Tom suddenly passed away, Mike was offered the Director’s position and has been leading the new direction of the SWFL Enterprise Center ever since.

Mike works tirelessly with the community and is always looking for ways to improve the local economy, improve the community and develop center programs and initiatives.  Currently, he offers an Entrepreneur’s School class at the center 4 or 5 times a year that runs for 6 weeks which covers every aspect of becoming an Entrepreneur.  He has helped dozens of people successfully start their businesses through that unique class setting.  He also continually develops programs at the center, the largest of which was the highly anticipated SWFL Enterprise Center “Farm To Table Initiative” which includes an Urban Farming component as well as developing the area’s largest Commercial Kitchen on the Enterprise Center property which is in the planning and funding phase.

Mike also donates a lot of his free time to the community as well while working with his church, the children’s VBS and a soup kitchen in Cape Coral.  He and his wife Vee recently purchased a home in Cape Coral where they lived since arriving in SW Florida.
