This compelling documentary examines what happened in June 1969 when New York police raided a gay bar called the Stonewall Inn, resulting in three days of rioting by LGBTQ people no longer willing to abide by a punishing level of harassment and inequality.  The Uprising sparked the modern day Gay Rights Movement.  The film will be preceded by comments from local resident Jay Chetney, who was present during the Stonewall riots.
