Join us for an evening of storytelling to celebrate LGBT History Month in October. Guest speakers from our LGBT community in Southwest Florida will share their stories about coming out and living openly as LGBT people. Speakers will represent a diversity of experiences from within the LGBT community

This event is free and open to the public.

Doors open at 5 pm. Come early to participate in an optional art project where anyone is invited to write down a few words that describe your personal coming out experience.

Join us to celebrate LGBT History Month in October with a special presentation about the history of the LGBT civil rights movement in the United States.

Our speaker will be Hannah Willard, public policy director for Equality Florida, the largest advocacy organization in Florida dedicated to securing full equality for LGBT people. Hannah will provide an overview of the LGBT civil rights movement and milestones that have advanced equality for LGBT people – where we have been, where we are today and the direction our movement is heading into the future.
