Our mission focuses on the solidarity, empowerment, and overall mental, physical, and social wellness of the people of color in the LGBTQ+ community, its related subgroups, and allies in South Florida. (Broward County)
South Florida Afro Pride Federation, Inc is a community organization that fosters overall wellness support through mental health & substance abuse services; STI/HIV prevention, testing & education: care coordination & linkage; community collaboration, education & assessment; Trans services; advocacy; providing a safe and inclusive platform for cultural arts; and Afro Pride’s annual Parade & Music Festival. Afro Pride Federation Inc ignites campaigns, fundraisers, charitable events, and resource information across our multiple urban community-based social media platforms.
The goals of our programs are to expand tangible and effective access to needed culturally informed services that include HIV/AIDS healthcare & services, mental health/substance abuse interventions, and a safe and inclusive platform for community collaboration and cultural arts. Afro Pride Federation Inc aims to provide the essential resources & services that the Black & Brown LGBTQ+ population in Broward County needs to survive, and thrive.
