VISIT SIESTA KEY, FLORIDA

Siesta Key is accurately and affectionately known as “Sarasota’s Favorite Island.” Eight miles long, our crescent-shaped barrier island is accessible for visitors traveling either north or south. From one end of Siesta Key to the other, one can experience our vibrant island lifestyle.

Siesta Beach has been recognized as the No. 1 beach in the United States by Dr. Beach (aka Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, director of Florida International University’s highly respected Laboratory for Coastal Research) in his authoritative annual ratings and continues to receive grand recognition across the country, and around the world, as one of the top coastal destinations.

Public restrooms are available at three locations on Siesta Key along Midnight Pass Road: Turtle BeachSiesta Beach and Glebe Park. Most merchants provide restrooms for customers only.
