Clearwater Beach, Again, TripAdvisor’s No. 1 Beach In U.S.

St. Pete/Clearwater (Feb. 26, 2019) – For the second year in a row, Clearwater Beach has taken TripAdvisor’s top spot in its annual Best Beach rankings.

It’s the third time in four years the famous white sands of Clearwater Beach have taken top honors in the U.S. and set a new personal high of No. 6 in the World as voted by millions in TripAdvisor’s community.

St. Pete Beach came in at No. 4 in the U.S., reaffirming St. Pete/Clearwater’s reputation of America’s Best Beaches.

“Clearwater Beach continues to be one of the best beaches in the world, and it’s special to have the millions who make up the TripAdvisor community reaffirm that it truly is the No. 1 beach in America for the second-straight year,” said Visit St. Pete/Clearwater Vice President of Digital & Communications Leroy Bridges. “And having St. Pete Beach No. 4 underscores why we think St. Pete/Clearwater is home to America’s Best Beaches.”

Clearwater Beach was one of just two beaches in America on TripAdvisor’s global list.

The annual list is voted on by members of the world’s largest online travel community. Winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and averaged ratings gathered over a 12-month period. TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site reaching more than 490 million unique monthly visitors and has more than 730 million reviews operating in 49 countries.
